Annual Apple Hill Trip

Last Thursday we headed up to Apple Hill with my family for our annual trip with the kids. The weather was beautiful and we had a lot of fun. First we headed to Apple Ridge Farms (formally Plubells) to see the animals. Logan LOVES animals. His first year we took him here he kissed a cow. This year he told me he put leaves up the pig's nose.

Unlike Logan, we learned that Kelsie hates or is deathly afraid of the farm animals. She's scream anytime we put her close to them.

Me & the girls (sister-in-law Anissa & sister Becky)

We picked up some apples & pears at Larsons. I'm hoping to make applesauce this next week while my mom is visiting. Then we briefly stopped off at Rainbow Orchards to pick up some Apple Cider donuts for the kids' lunch...and I may or may not have tasted one myself. :) Then we headed to Honey Bear Ranch - our normal lunch stop. We packed the kids lunches, while us ladies indulged in the chicken strudel, pork sandwiches, and apple pie. mmmmm.
The kids love the fish pond they have here. Grandma bribed them with fish food if they would sit through some family pictures.

Grandma Smith & all of her grandchildren (minus Tristan who stayed at school)

Our last stop was High Hill Ranch - bought more apple donuts - the kind with the apple chunks in it! Mom and I also wandered around looking at a bunch of art/craft booths.
